Dame Jodie Slaughter Virtual & River Cruise Events!

I am thrilled to announce that this August 2021, Dame Jodie Slaughter (frequent Shelf Love guest, romance author) will be visiting New England to learn how we wear our sweater vests when we prune the ivy on our estates and also to do some cool romance events with moi, in partnership with Copper Dog Books (the romance-affirming indie bookstore in my home city, Beverly, MA).

We have 2 events in store for you, each special in their own way. First, an intimate river boat cruise on The Essex River Queen. Second, a virtual event you can join from anywhere. You can buy signed Jodie Slaughter books when you sign up for either event.

Essex River Cruise with Jodie Slaughter

When: Tuesday August 10, 2021, 6-8pm ET
Where: Essex River Queen, which leaves from Essex, MA
What: 2 hours of mingling with Jodie, Andrea from Shelf Love, the fab book sellers of Copper Dog Books, as well as other local romance fans, booksellers, and reviewers. Also, Q&A, book signing, games, giveaways, and more.

$20 per ticket gets you a 2-hour tour on the scenic Essex River, light snacks, dessert, and lots of entertainment. Beverages can be purchased on board. Add a book or two or three to get signed by Jodie when you check out.
